Manuel Fabian was born in Cuba and emigrated to the United States in 1969 at the age of 14. He received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Southwestern Law School, Los Angeles, California in 1982.
His legal career began in 1982 as a public defender at the Queens Legal Aid Society, Criminal Defense Division. In 1985, Mr. Fabian opened a law practice in Jackson Heights, New York concentrating on commercial and residential real estate transactions, the purchase and sale of businesses including both supermarkets and small bodegas and of course, criminal defense.
In 1992, Mr. Fabian merged with the firm of Balsam & Felber creating the firm of Balsam Felber & Fabian, opening an office on Wall Street while still maintaining his office in Jackson Heights.
In 1998, Mr. Fabian returned to his firm in Jackson Heights where he remains today.
Manuel Fabian is admitted to the State Bars of New York and Florida.
In addition, he is admitted to practice law in both the Southern District of New York and the Eastern District of New York.
